About Us*Herd tested CAE Negative March 2018!*
In 2010 we sought out a pet goat to keep our old Nubian company after out other two goats died. We came across our herd matriarch The Northern Fork Kyras Kopper 1*M VEEV88. She was bred to Camanna CS Ravello and gave birth to three very pretty bucklings! Of course, after that the rest is history!
We now have a herd of about 15 does and 6 bucks. We participate in Performance Programs including DHI Milk Testing and Linear Appraisal through our goat registry, American Dairy Goat Association, and attend many shows annually around the state of Oregon and SW Washington! Nigerians make great pets and companions due to their small size and easy to handle personalities! We enjoy them and get a kick out of the funny antics they can get into. Our goats are handled daily and provided with the best possible care we can give. They are spoiled with free range year round pasture, homegrown orchard grass hay and yummy and nutritious grain and mineral options. Our herd has been selected through countless hours of research on pedigrees, milk testing data, Linear Appraisal scores and show records. With that being said, we have invested a lot of money into bringing in some of the best genetics the Nigerian Dwarf breed has to offer! Our herd is based heavily off of Dill's genetics with some other lines mixed in and we are really looking forward to seeing what direction the addition of these lines will do for the success of our herd! Take a look around! Enjoy! |
