Our Sales Policy
We appreciate and thank you for stopping and looking at our website! We are located in Sheridan, Oregon which is about 18 miles south of McMinnville off of Highway 18. We are dedicated to raising top quality, friendly, healthy, and correct Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats focusing on conformation and dairy quality. All of our goats are registered with the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA), unless wethered or sold as pets.
Kids
If you would like to reserve a kid from a planned breeding please email me and let me know which breeding you would like to reserve a kid. Reservations on unborn kids are free and first come first serve. Once kid is born I will begin emailing interested parties in that order. If you're still interested in the kid we request a non refundable deposit of $100 (does and bucks) for each animal within 7 days to hold the kid as yours. Remaining balance is required at pick-up of animal.
Breeding/Adult Age Animals
If you would like to reserve an adult breeding doe and/or buck that is for sale we request $100 (non refundable) at the time of reservation to hold the animal as "yours." Again, animals will be held no longer than 7 days unless other arrangements have been agreed upon, then the deposit will be forfeited and the animal will be put back up for sale.
Deposits are NON Refundable after you put one down. Deposits are only refunded if I decide to retain the kid in my herd, or the said kid dies/or gets severely injured or sick while still in the care of Rainey Valley Farm.
Wether Reservations
I will not be taking wether reservations anymore. They will be posted on craigslist or facebook livestock sale groups when they are ready for new homes. I may have bottle wether kids available depending on the circumstances.
Transportation
Transportation of the animal is the buyers responsibility, but I am willing to work with buyers and try to agree on a pick up and/or delivery for a fee. Animals must be picked up within 7 days of intent to purchase or time of weaning.
I am willing to airship kids. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs-- crate, health certificate and flight, as well as gas for my commute. We would fly out of Portland International Airport in Portland, Oregon which is about an hour and a half drive for me. Please email me for more information if this would be the route of transportation for your chosen kid and we can discuss in more detail!
All animals sold will be in good health, UTD on all shots, de-worming and hoof trimmings. Our herd is tested annually for CAE and we remain NEGATIVE!! We want our customers to be satisfied with the condition the animal comes to them in! After it leaves our property we are NOT responsible for it's condition and/or health.
Payment Options
Deposits can be made by paypal or check in the mail
Cash is required for the remaining balance at pickup-- no exceptions! Paypal of remaining balance ok as long as done 14 days before pickup date!
All doe and buck kids will come with ADGA registration papers ready for transfer OR a signed ADGA registration application upon pickup. Wethers do not come with papers.
